I weave networks and relationships throughout the Black diaspora and on the African continent.

I amplify, celebrate, and expand Black and African art, culture, and history by organizing curated travel experiences and exchanges for arts and social justice enthusiasts, leaders, and networks across the United States and Africa.

I am an avid world traveler, having visited over 50 countries, including 13 in Africa. Everywhere I go, I seek experiences of arts, culture, and history that take me off the beaten path and connect to contemporary conditions.

We live in a world of great precarity and limitless possibility. To lean into the latter, I believe we have to build stronger networks. In Black and Brown communities, reaching across our diasporas to share ideas, exchange knowledge, build connections, and support one another is critical. I aim to do this through what I call “diaspora weaving” - from thoughtfully curated travel to organized cultural exchange.

Small Group Tours to Nigeria / Africa

The current itinerary immerses travelers in the art, culture, and history of Lagos—a dynamic West African city dating back to the 15th century. The tour includes meetings with artists, collectors, and historians, as well as visits to museums and galleries, plus markets, bookstores, and fashion houses. Future tours may explore other cities and themes, such as textiles and architecture. Please sign up for my newsletter below to get first notice.

Cultural Exchange & Fellowships

While business and government leaders have a history of traveling to connect with counterparts and local people across geographies, arts and social justice leaders enjoy few opportunities for such learning and exchange, especially across the African diaspora. In collaboration with foundations, institutions, and networks, I design and organize trips of mutual exchange, learning, and immersion.
